About the Role
Maticline Industries Ltd is a leading provider of comprehensive turnkey solutions for the bottled water, soft drinks, juices, dairy products, edible oil, detergents, and pesticides industries. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Argon Welding Specialist (TIG) to join our growing engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the fabrication and assembly of advanced machinery, process tanks, and piping systems, ensuring the highest standards of structural integrity and hygienic finish for our industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision TIG and Argon welding on stainless steel and other industrial metals.
- Fabricate and assemble machine components, storage tanks, process pipes, frames, and custom fittings.
- Read, interpret, and execute complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Produce clean, strong welds with minimal material distortion and optimal structural strength.
- Inspect finished welds thoroughly and troubleshoot any welding defects immediately.
- Carry out necessary grinding, polishing, and surface finishing to meet hygienic industry standards.
- Maintain all welding equipment in optimal working condition and strictly comply with workplace safety regulations.
- Possession of an OND, HND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven, practical experience in TIG and Argon welding within an industrial setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in stainless steel welding and advanced metal fabrication techniques.
- Strong ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Prior hands-on experience working with industrial pipes, tanks, process equipment, or hygienic food-grade welding is a strong advantage.
