About the Role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc is a trusted multinational consumer goods leader manufacturing beloved household, personal care, and electrical brands like Imperial Leather, Morning Fresh, and Thermocool. We are currently looking for a dedicated Beach Master to join our operations team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of bulk oil materials while maintaining strict safety, environmental, and quality standards to support continuous factory production.
Key Responsibilities- Receive bulk oil shipments into storage tanks following strict Quality Control Laboratory sampling and approvals.
- Issue precise quantities of oil to the bleaching section and maintain comprehensive inventory abstracts and daily stock sheets.
- Conduct monthly physical stock reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and report operational anomalies promptly.
- Enforce strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines.
- Lead and mentor subordinate staff, delivering targeted on-the-job training, performance appraisals, and safety awareness sessions.
- Maintain safe working conditions, achieving targets for Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) walk-arounds and HSE inspection closures.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or BSc degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven work experience in a similar material management or operations role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email tools, and digital inventory systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with exceptional attention to detail.
