Bühler Group in Lagos, Nigeria is looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager for Milling Solutions to expand our market presence across Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia. Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for Bühler's Milling Solutions across designated West African markets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial business development through to contract closure and seamless handover.
- Drive new business opportunities, expand strategic accounts, and build a robust, sustainable sales pipeline.
- Understand complex customer needs and deliver value-driven milling solutions utilizing industry-leading technologies.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals, tenders, commercial offers, and business cases in collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations and secure profitable, long-term business agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders while actively monitoring competitor trends.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and strategic account plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Represent Bühler during customer visits and industry events, with frequent travel across the assigned region.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Milling Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or key account management within industrial equipment or grain processing.
- Demonstrated success in solution selling, strategic account management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong technical understanding of milling technologies and commercial value creation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English, with French or regional language skills considered a strong advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout West Africa.
