About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, powering homes across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a results-driven Area Business Manager (Reliever) to join our growing team in Bauchi, Nigeria. In this role, you will coordinate direct sales, timely collections, and distribution operations for our Pay-As-You-Go EasyBuy business unit, empowering communities with reliable, clean energy.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, and retain a high-performing team of at least 40 Sun King Energy Officers within your assigned territory.
- Drive sales and collection targets, ensuring timely and accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Conduct daily and weekly field visits, joint fieldwork, and market activations to support team engagement and customer acquisition.
- Manage customer service operations, ensuring swift resolution of product delivery, installation, and warranty issues within 24 hours.
- Monitor local market competition and execute strategies to protect and expand Sun King's brand presence in Bauchi.
- Optimize return on investment for marketing materials, supply chain assets, and operational spending.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on sales experience, preferably within the Nigerian market.
- Strong computer literacy, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Extensive background in customer care and stakeholder relationship management.
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and out-of-the-box problem-solving skills.
- Deep familiarity with the Bauchi territory and local consumer behavior.
