About the Role
Rosabon Financial Services, a proud member of The Concept Group, is seeking a skilled, methodical, and reliable Application Support Officer to join our dynamic Transformation Department. In this vital role, you will ensure the seamless day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of our proprietary business platforms, driving business continuity across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and proactively monitor proprietary platforms, conducting regular configuration and performance checks.
- Manage user accounts and access rights strictly adhering to least-privilege security principles.
- Provide prompt first-line application support, efficiently troubleshooting incidents and escalating complex issues.
- Monitor routine system backups, maintain disaster recovery procedures, and conduct periodic restore tests.
- Support critical system changes, patches, updates, and production releases under established change control protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive platform documentation, access logs, and credential vault entries accurately.
- Monitor and report on key platform performance metrics, system availability, and compliance indicators.
- Liaise closely with IT, Software Engineering, and platform owners to resolve cross-functional challenges swiftly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on professional experience in application support, software development, or systems administration.
- At least 1 year of dedicated experience supporting live business applications within a fast-paced production environment.
- Proven technical proficiency in full-stack application support, database querying, cloud hosting, and version control.
- Prior experience in the financial services sector or another highly regulated industry is a strong advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications in cloud platforms, database management, cybersecurity, or ITIL are an added plus.
