About the Role
Street Souk, Africa's premier streetwear convention and fashion festival based in Lagos, Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic Animator and visual designer to create bold, engaging, and visually impactful work. Founded in 2018, we serve as a massive cultural melting pot celebrating African street fashion, music, and youth expression. We are seeking experienced creatives who can bring innovative ideas to life across diverse digital platforms, campaigns, merchandise, and live event experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Create bold and visually striking animation and graphic assets for upcoming projects, marketing campaigns, and our flagship annual convention.
- Design digital, social media, print, merchandise, and event assets that align with our vibrant brand identity.
- Translate creative concepts into polished, high-impact motion and visual designs.
- Collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across all brand touchpoints.
- Adapt designs seamlessly across various digital and physical platforms while strictly meeting project deadlines.
- Contribute fresh, innovative creative ideas and problem-solving solutions during brainstorming and campaign planning sessions.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience with a strong focus on Animation, Motion Graphics, Illustration, 3D, or Graphic Design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and animation software.
- Exceptional creativity, storytelling abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- A robust portfolio showcasing relevant animation and multidisciplinary design work is strictly required.
- Prior experience within the fashion, streetwear, youth culture, or music industries will be considered a strong advantage.
