About the Role
First Bank of Nigeria Limited is looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to join our Operational Risk Management team as an Analytics & Target Setting Officer. In this role, you will support the Unit Head by transforming complex operational risk data into actionable insights, helping to safeguard Nigeria's premier financial institution.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, measure, and quantify operational risk across the bank using approved risk grading matrices and quantitative models.
- Analyze Key Risk Indicator (KRI) data to identify root causes, loss drivers, fraud trends, and systemic issues.
- Develop comprehensive risk reports, dashboards, and awareness initiatives including newsletters and flyers.
- Collaborate with process owners to build and maintain a robust risk and control library for products, systems, and activities.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with the bank's information security handbook and regulatory standards.
- First degree in Applied Sciences; an advanced degree will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant banking experience focused on risk management analysis.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
