About the Role
Tetra Maritime is a leading Nigerian ship owner and operator, providing comprehensive and tailor-made solutions across the oil and gas supply chain, including upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. We are currently looking for a dynamic and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our expanding finance team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Support the execution and administration of foreign exchange, investment, borrowing, and hedging transactions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key banking partners and financial institutions.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, interest rates, and foreign exchange markets to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with the Asset Management team on financial modeling, business cases, and foreign exchange assumptions.
- Assist with daily cash management, liquidity reporting, and bank account administration.
- Provide operational support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams during peak periods.
- Contribute to treasury process improvements, automation initiatives, and management reporting dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of professional finance experience, with prior exposure to the shipping or maritime industry being a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with strong financial data analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with financial modeling techniques, treasury management systems, and corporate banking platforms.
- Desirable experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Power BI to enhance reporting.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with full eligibility to work in Nigeria.
