About the Role

Tetra Maritime is a leading Nigerian ship owner and operator, providing comprehensive and tailor-made solutions across the oil and gas supply chain, including upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. We are currently looking for a dynamic and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our expanding finance team in Nigeria. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an early-career finance professional to build a robust career in treasury management, financial markets, and corporate finance within a fast-paced international maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution and administration of foreign exchange, investment, borrowing, and hedging transactions.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key banking partners and financial institutions.
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends, interest rates, and foreign exchange markets to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Asset Management team on financial modeling, business cases, and foreign exchange assumptions.
  • Assist with daily cash management, liquidity reporting, and bank account administration.
  • Provide operational support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams during peak periods.
  • Contribute to treasury process improvements, automation initiatives, and management reporting dashboards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional finance experience, with prior exposure to the shipping or maritime industry being a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with strong financial data analysis capabilities.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling techniques, treasury management systems, and corporate banking platforms.
  • Desirable experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Power BI to enhance reporting.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with full eligibility to work in Nigeria.
