About the Role
Resurgir Consulting, a leading people-first HR and recruitment agency in Lagos, is hiring an Aisle Attendant on behalf of our retail client. In this dynamic part-time position, you will play a crucial role in creating a pleasant shopping environment by keeping assigned supermarket aisles well-organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing. Key Responsibilities- Arrange, restock, and replenish products on assigned shelves and aisles to maintain a neat and organized appearance.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly and notify supervisors when stock is running low.
- Check product labels, verify correct pricing tags, and inspect items for expiry dates.
- Promptly remove damaged, expired, or defective products from display shelves.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide helpful, friendly information.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general orderliness of assigned aisles throughout your shift.
- Participate in receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stock as well as routine inventory counts.
- Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring customer activity and minimizing product wastage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures, operational standards, and workplace policies.
- Minimum of an OND or equivalent educational qualification is an advantage.
- Previous retail experience as an aisle attendant, shop assistant, merchandiser, or in a supermarket environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to read and write proficiently.
- Basic computer literacy is considered an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven dedication to excellent customer service.
- Physically capable of standing and moving around the retail floor for extended periods.
- High level of honesty, integrity, punctuality, and accountability.
- Flexibility to work a convenient schedule of 15 days per month.
