About the Role
Nextzon Business Services Limited is hiring a strategic, commercially driven Airline Marketing & Route Development Manager to drive airline traffic and route connectivity at Akanu Ibiam International Airport (AIIA) in Enugu.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and secure new passenger and cargo airline operators for scheduled and charter services into AIIA.
- Conduct market research, traffic analysis, and feasibility studies to identify underserved route opportunities.
- Develop compelling, data-driven route profitability and business cases for airline network planners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, regulators, tourism bodies, and business stakeholders.
- Create airline incentive packages and cooperative marketing initiatives to sustain new services.
- Monitor aviation trends, competitor pricing, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Present persuasive commercial proposals and negotiate opportunities with airline C-suite executives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline (Master's degree is a plus).
- 5 to 7 years of professional aviation experience with expertise in route development or network planning.
- Strong analytical capability using aviation data tools such as OAG, MIDT, or Diio Mi.
- Excellent commercial presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
