About the Role
KNOSK N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School provides quality education to children from underserved communities, helping them break the cycle of generational poverty. We are seeking a responsible, organised, and tech-savvy AI Laboratory Attendant to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our AI Lab in Kuje, Abuja. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment where students can explore technology and build sustainable livelihoods.
Key Responsibilities- Open, close, and maintain the AI Lab in a clean, safe, and orderly condition daily.
- Monitor facility access and ensure that only authorised users enter the lab.
- Prepare computers, devices, and lab equipment for classes, training sessions, and workshops.
- Oversee the proper handling of hardware and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment promptly.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for computers and internet connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate records of lab usage, inventory, incidents, and maintenance needs.
- Enforce lab safety procedures, rules, and acceptable-use policies among students and visitors.
- Assist teachers, students, and visitors with basic navigation and use of lab facilities.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO; OND or NCE in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, and common digital tools.
- Strong organisational, record-keeping, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail with the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience working in a school computer lab or ICT centre is a strong advantage.
