Faith Comprehensive International Secondary School (FACISS), located in Okutukutu, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Agriculture Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive agricultural science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Supervise practical agricultural activities, including school farm management, crop production, and animal husbandry.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Instill strong moral and spiritual values in students, aligning with the core mission of FACISS.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to promote overall student development and school values.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Agriculture, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Strong subject matter expertise with a deep understanding of modern agricultural practices and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to student growth academically, morally, and spiritually.
