About the Role
Olive Grove College is a premier, co-educational Christian secondary institution situated in Ugwuomu Nike, Enugu, Nigeria, dedicated to bridging the gap between advanced academic scholarship and comprehensive spiritual development. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Agricultural Science Teacher to inspire our students and lead our agricultural studies program. In this role, you will deliver dynamic classroom instruction, manage practical farm projects, and help students understand the vital intersection of modern agriculture, science, and faith.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Agricultural Science lessons in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Supervise practical agricultural activities, school farm projects, and hands-on experiments.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom and field environment through effective classroom management.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, departmental meetings, and spiritual formation programs.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Education, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities with a student-centered approach to teaching.
