Head – Asset Management. In this strategic leadership position, you will spearhead our business development, funds and wealth management, and treasury sales initiatives within the Asset Management Strategic Business Unit. Key Responsibilities- Drive aggressive deposit mobilization across institutional, retail, and public sector markets to secure profitable business relationships.
- Identify high-potential sales growth opportunities and collaborate with the portfolio management team to scale Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Develop and manage customized investment portfolios and discretionary funds for corporate and institutional clients.
- Design and implement strategic sales and distribution plans while anchoring innovative product development initiatives.
- Identify and capture business opportunities within financial institutions, including insurance companies, PFAs, and investment houses, as well as the public sector.
- Analyze complex financial statements to evaluate the viability of diverse investment proposals.
- Market a comprehensive suite of financial products, including structured deposits, treasury solutions, and brokerage services across Nigeria.
- Prepare accurate budget reports and monthly performance reviews for the team and executive management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of cognate experience in asset management, wealth management, or treasury sales within the Nigerian financial services sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in institutional and public sector deposit mobilization.
- Exceptional financial analysis, investment advisory, and risk assessment skills.
- Strong existing network of high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients in Nigeria.
