About the Role
Bloomseed Elementary School is a happy, vibrant nursery and primary school equipped with world-class facilities, located in the heart of Ibara, Abeokuta. We provide an exciting, balanced education for children aged 3 to 11, rooted in modern methodologies and traditional God-fearing values. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Afterschool Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help us raise happy, intellectually sound children who excel in any environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate daily afterschool programs, activities, and schedules for nursery and primary pupils.
- Provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Supervise homework sessions and provide academic assistance or tutoring to students as needed.
- Plan and facilitate enriching extracurricular activities, including arts, crafts, games, and personal development sessions.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure the safety and security of all children during afterschool hours.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress, participation, and any behavioral observations.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administration to align afterschool activities with the core school curriculum and values.
- Minimum of a NCE, OND, or Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an afterschool coordinator, teacher, or childcare provider in a reputable school.
- Strong passion for child development and instilling strong moral and ethical values.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and handle children with patience and empathy.
- Residency in or proximity to Abeokuta is required.
