About the Role
Chemiron International Limited, a renowned household brand in healthcare and nutritional supplements established in 1987, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our dynamic production team in Agbara. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the electrical integrity of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring seamless production processes that deliver superior health products to millions across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all industrial machines, equipment, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and efficiently repair electrical faults, reducing downtime and optimizing plant productivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain electrical control panels, motors, sensors, and automation systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and electrical safety procedures during all operations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to upgrade electrical infrastructure and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and report equipment status regularly to the engineering supervisor.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on relevant experience working as an electrical technician within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of electrical installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in handling electrical control panels, industrial motors, sensors, and automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and a proven capacity to work effectively within a team.
- Mandatory requirement: Must reside in Agbara or its immediate environs for prompt shift availability.
