About the Role
RACHAM Empowerment & Humanitarian Foundation (REHF) is a faith-inspired non-governmental organization dedicated to uplifting orphans, widows, and vulnerable communities across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Administrator to oversee our residential children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and sustainable environment for every child in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the orphanage and residential children's home to maintain high standards of care.
- Supervise caregivers, support staff, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and empathetic team culture.
- Implement and monitor strict child safeguarding and protection policies across all facility activities.
- Oversee children's welfare, healthcare needs, hygiene standards, and nutritional feeding programs.
- Maintain accurate records, manage facility resources efficiently, and coordinate with foundation leadership.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative experience, specifically managing an orphanage or residential children's home.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child safeguarding, protection policies, and children's rights.
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and lead residential staff and caregivers effectively.
- Strong understanding of pediatric healthcare, hygiene practices, and nutritional feeding standards.
- Exceptional leadership, integrity, patience, compassion, and willingness to live and work within the orphanage environment.
- Ability to provide reliable and verifiable professional references.
