About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a visionary and results-driven State Director to provide strategic leadership and manage comprehensive public health interventions, including HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, and MNCH programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and management leadership for public health interventions, ensuring alignment with ECEWS, donor, and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Oversee program planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all state-level activities spanning HIV, TB, Malaria, and MNCH.
- Manage state office staff, resources, and budgets judiciously to achieve contractual, financial, and programmatic goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with government officials, public sector stakeholders, and NGO partners within the state.
- Monitor intervention strategies, conduct regular site visits, and collaborate with implementing partners to ensure effective project delivery.
- MB.BS, MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in Medicine, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional public health experience, with at least 5 years in developing country settings.
- At least 4 years of senior management experience directing complex health programs.
- Proven expertise in managing integrated services including HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, and MNCH.
