About the Role
The Center for Humanitarian Impact and Development (C-HID) is a leading humanitarian and development organization dedicated to empowering communities and building resilience among vulnerable populations across Nigeria. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team and provide crucial day-to-day administrative and logistical support for our diverse community development interventions, including WASH, Food Security, Health, and Protection programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable day-to-day administrative and operational support to the project and field teams in challenging environments.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital filing systems, records, official correspondence, and administrative documents.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, stakeholder trainings, and routine programmatic activities.
- Assist with general office management, asset tracking, and internal administrative processes.
- Manage documentation for staff attendance, field movements, supplies, and other operational records in compliance with organizational standards.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support roles, preferably within the humanitarian or NGO sector.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Deep commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability, social inclusion, and respect for affected populations.
- Ability and willingness to work effectively in challenging field environments.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and strict compliance with safeguarding, PSEA, anti-fraud, and anti-corruption policies.
- Local knowledge of Gujba and/or Buni Yadi (Yobe State) will be considered a distinct advantage.
