About the Role
Whispers Art Haus, a premium hospitality and lifestyle destination located in the heart of Maitama, Abuja, is expanding its operations. We are seeking a passionate, professional, and results-driven Account Officer to join our dynamic finance team and contribute to our continued business success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and daily sales reports accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, local tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Process payroll, vendor invoices, and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other department heads to monitor operational costs and track inventory.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of proven experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably within hospitality or retail.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and general ledger maintenance.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to maintain financial confidentiality.
