We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria, and oversee our comprehensive financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Reconciling company bank statements and maintaining accurate bookkeeping ledgers
- Completing thorough analysis of employee expenditures and operational costs
- Managing and monitoring income and expenditure accounts
- Generating accurate financial reports using income and expenditure data
- Filing and remitting statutory taxes and fulfilling other regulatory obligations
- Utilising financial and accounting software to streamline daily accounting processes
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or HND in Accounting
- Must be a certified Chartered Accountant (Associate of ICAN or ACCA)
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards, with specific relevance to the agriculture industry
- Proficiency in accounting packages such as Tally and SAGE ERP
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
