MeCure Healthcare Limited (MHL) is a premier leader in the medical diagnostic and healthcare sector in Nigeria and the West African sub-region, featuring an established pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Lagos and advanced diagnostic centers across Lagos, Victoria Island, and Kano. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, dedicated, and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all vendor invoices are accurately processed and settled promptly, thereby fostering robust and trusting relationships with our valued suppliers and supporting our mission to deliver top-tier healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Review, verify, and match all vendor invoices for financial accuracy, internal policy compliance, and proper management approvals.
- Process payments efficiently and ensure timely disbursements to suppliers, optimizing our cash flow management.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and organized records of all accounts payable transactions within the corporate ledger.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements meticulously and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues promptly.
- Assist the finance team in comprehensive month-end closing activities related to payables and receivables.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or any related finance discipline.
- Demonstrated 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role.
- Proficiency in utilizing modern accounting software, specifically Tally, alongside a strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active pursuit or completion of professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA will be considered a distinct advantage.
