We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Accounts Officer to join our finance team in Nigeria and contribute to our continued financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments and maintain an up-to-date accounts receivable ledger.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, resolve payment discrepancies, and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, payment trends, and escalate long-outstanding debts to management.
  • Record and allocate customer payments accurately while reconciling receipts with bank deposits.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable ageing reports and provide analysis to support cash flow planning.
  • Respond promptly to customer billing enquiries and liaise with the Sales team to facilitate collections.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./B.HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA (or progress toward certification) will be an added advantage.
  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Financial Accounting.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or FMCG environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service orientation.
