About the Role

We are currently seeking an exceptional Accounts Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee our entire financial management framework, ensuring long-term sustainability, compliance, and profitability across our global group locations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and long-term growth.
- Provide general supervision of day-to-day operations across Accounts, P&L, Projects, Contracts, and Service & Maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with international accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations in Nigeria, Ghana, DRC, UAE, and Sierra Leone.
- Deliver insightful quarterly financial reports and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and Executive Management.
- Lead external audits, manage banking relationships, negotiate credit facilities, and optimize cash flow management.
- Establish robust internal controls, manage financial risks, and identify cost-reduction and revenue-optimization opportunities.
- Mentor, lead, and develop the finance team to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA.
- Extensive experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, risk management, and multi-departmental leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4Hana, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and international tax legislation.
- Bilingual capability in French and English is a distinct advantage.
