About the Role
Mimundo Limited (Green Baskit) is a vibrant and growing healthy African food production company dedicated to helping people experience authentic African culture through our innovative snacks, foods, and beverages. We are currently looking for a diligent and proactive Accounts Clerk to join our finance team and support our daily operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy, monitoring inventory, and ensuring seamless monetary transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile daily sales across multiple payment channels including POS, cash, card, and bank transfers, while supervising cashing up and bank deposits.
- Monitor stock movements closely, conduct regular physical stock counts, and investigate any variances.
- Verify supplier invoices accurately and manage outgoing vendor payments in a timely manner.
- Prepare company payroll, track petty cash disbursement, and oversee daily operating expenses.
- Maintain comprehensive books of account and generate accurate weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Must reside within or around Ikotun, Ejigbo, and its immediate environs for easy commute.
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and absolute integrity.
- Good working knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and spreadsheet applications.
