About the Role
Fidas Consult Limited is seeking a dynamic and analytical Accounting Team Lead to oversee the financial operations of our growing publishing company. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strict compliance with statutory regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to executive management. We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in managing comprehensive accounting operations within a structured business environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, examine, and analyze comprehensive financial statements and reports.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Oversee accurate budgeting, forecasting, and effective cash flow management.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements in Nigeria.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly and maintain pristine financial records.
- Coordinate internal and external audits while liaising effectively with regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls, recommending operational improvements where necessary.
- Provide actionable financial insights and data to support key strategic business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN is a strong added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven accounting experience in a structured organization.
- Prior working experience within the publishing, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is highly advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles, Nigerian taxation, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

- High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and keen attention to detail.
- Competitive salary range of NGN 250,000 to NGN 300,000 monthly, commensurate with experience.
