About the Role
Ikirun College of Health Technology (ICHT), a premier government-approved tertiary institution in Osun State, Nigeria, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic administrative team. Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of annual institutional budgets.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations, tax laws, and internal control policies.
- Process payroll, manage student fee reconciliations, and handle vendor payments efficiently.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions as required.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant post-qualification accounting experience, preferably within a tertiary institution or public-sector organization.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software, financial management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Active membership or partial qualification in professional bodies such as ACA, ACCA, or ANAN is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
