About the Role
SENRI Limited is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our financial records are accurate, up to date, and fully compliant with local regulations while working closely with our management and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Record bank, petty cash, revenue, and expense transactions accurately in QuickBooks.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial documentation.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, record payments, and manage accounts receivable follow-ups.
- Support monthly payroll processing and coordinate statutory deductions including PAYE and VAT.
- Manage petty cash, review expense requests, and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
- Prepare monthly accounting schedules and assist with audit, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably within a tech, SaaS, or startup environment.
- Practical proficiency in using QuickBooks and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian tax compliance, PAYE, VAT, withholding tax, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong organizational skills, high integrity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
