About the Role

The British Council is seeking a dynamic and analytical FP&A CoE Manager (Indirects) to join our team in Nigeria. In this key role, you will report to the CoE Head of Central Services and drive reporting excellence, process efficiency, and data quality across our global indirects portfolio. You will act as the technical bridge between data production and strategic business insight, supporting professional services and network indirects while collaborating with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate core FP&A processes, including monthly performance reporting consolidation and technical setups for budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Provide foundational variance analysis, first-pass commentary, and baseline trends for local estates, IOPS, local D&T, resources, and depreciation.
  • Execute rigorous data quality checks and error monitoring to ensure accuracy in indirect cost treatments before handover to business partnering teams.
  • Champion the use of Anaplan to automate complex indirect cost data consolidation and collaborate on product development to capture specific requirements.
  • Drive process improvements to reduce manual data handling and enhance the overall value of foundational financial analyses.

Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, complemented by professional finance qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA.
  • Anaplan certifications (e.g., Model Builder Level 3 Solution Architect) and training in Agile methodologies are highly desirable.
  • Strong demonstrable experience in international and multi-cultural organizations providing comprehensive finance and business partner support.
  • Commercial finance experience within organizations undergoing change, alongside exceptional report writing and stakeholder presentation skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, with the legal right to work in the location.
