About the Role
Fisem Integrated Services, a leading veterinary services provider involved in pharmaceutical production, laboratory diagnostics, and agricultural consultancy, is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly organised Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team in Ibadan.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate accounting records, financial documentation, and audit trails.
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and other daily financial transactions efficiently.
- Carry out regular bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and maintain supporting documentation.
- Monitor inventory records, stock movements, and sales documentation closely.
- Verify transactions and ensure strict compliance with internal company policies.
- Support payroll administration and timely statutory remittances such as VAT and PAYE.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Bachelor degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Successful completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme is mandatory.
- 2 to 5 years of proven post-NYSC experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Practical knowledge of at least one recognized accounting software package.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office productivity tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high integrity.
- Must currently reside in Ibadan or be readily willing to relocate.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or inventory management is an advantage.
