Wertvoll Consulting Services is proud to represent our esteemed client, Skyline Premium Hotel in Agbor, Delta State, as we recruit a talented and meticulous Accountant/Auditor. In this vital role, you will oversee the financial health of the hotel, ensuring accurate record-keeping, strict internal controls, and maximum profitability. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who shares our commitment to operational excellence and financial integrity within the dynamic hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgeting reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor hotel revenue centers, verify daily income audits, and reconcile bank statements promptly.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard hotel assets and minimize financial risks.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and management to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience in accounting or auditing roles, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial management systems.
- Preferred gender: Female, in line with specific team diversity goals.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high integrity, and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to reside in or relocate to Agbor, Delta State.
- Shared comfortable staff accommodation is available for candidates residing outside Agbor.
