About the Role
DMOT Enterprises is recruiting on behalf of a reputable manufacturing company in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for a dedicated and skilled Accountant. We are looking for a finance professional who can ensure accurate financial reporting, manage budgets, and contribute to the overall financial health of our growing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial transactions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and budget monitoring specific to manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
- Assist with internal and external audits, implementing recommendations for financial process improvements.
- Collaborate with management to formulate effective financial strategies and cost-control measures.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting.
- Must be a qualified Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
- 3 to 5 years of proven accounting experience specifically within a manufacturing company.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, Nigerian tax laws, and accounting software.
- Residency in Abeokuta or willingness to relocate and resume duty immediately.
