About the Role
TeamAce Limited is partnering with a prominent retail industry client to hire a dedicated Accountant for a high-impact, short-term finance and audit project lasting two months. In this role, you will play a critical part in stabilizing financial records, resolving historical discrepancies, and preparing comprehensive schedules for upcoming audits and tax reviews.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed reconciliations of bank, control, and balance sheet accounts including accounts receivable, payable, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Investigate and resolve historical reconciling items, outstanding transactions, and intercompany balances.
- Prepare robust audit support schedules, working papers, and maintain a well-organized audit evidence repository.
- Compile and organize financial documents required for tax audits, VAT, WHT reviews, and regulatory compliance.
- Support data cleansing, validation, and migration activities for ERP system implementation.
- Maintain accurate reconciliation trackers, issue logs, and assist with month-end close activities.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience, particularly in audit support and reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience using enterprise ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large volumes of complex financial data efficiently.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
