About the Role
M.I.P Consultants Limited is expanding its team and looking for a talented, dedicated, professional, and service-driven Accountant / Auditor to join our growing hospitality consulting firm. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining financial accuracy, conducting comprehensive audits, and supporting the financial health of our hospitality clients across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct internal audits of operations, inventory, and financial procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledgers, payroll processing, and tax computations.
- Assist management in developing and implementing financial controls, budgeting strategies, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.
- Provide actionable financial insights to hotel, resort, and restaurant operators to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any relevant educational background.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN or ACCA will be an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management, preferably within the hospitality or service sector.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and trustworthiness with confidential financial data.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
