Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
- Manage general ledger accounts, execute thorough reconciliations, and process precise journal entries.
- Monitor departmental budgets closely and provide actionable financial insights to drive cost control and efficiency.
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payroll processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and international accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits while maintaining robust and effective financial controls.
- Analyze operational and infrastructure-related costs to recommend strategies that improve overall business profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is a strong added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional accounting experience, preferably within the tech or engineering sector.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, Nigerian taxation laws, and general accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
