We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team in maintaining financial excellence and supporting our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, documentation, and general ledger entries.
- Process daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform timely bank reconciliations and promptly investigate any discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure prompt collections and disbursements.
- Assist with payroll administration, ensuring accurate salary calculations and statutory deductions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis for management review.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, pension schemes, and other statutory financial obligations.
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing accurate records and prompt explanations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification or progress toward ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting and financial management experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software packages.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory financial requirements.
