About the Role

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining our financial health by overseeing daily accounting operations, fee tracking, and financial reporting in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting records for daily transactions, income, and expenses.
- Monitor student school fee payments, manage outstanding balances, and issue proper invoices and receipts.
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and management of accurate staff payroll.
- Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations alongside departmental budget monitoring.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and comprehensive reports for school management.
- Ensure proper documentation of all school expenditures and promptly report any financial discrepancies.
- Maintain a highly organised physical and digital filing system for all sensitive financial documents.
- Collaborate closely with school management and departments to ensure seamless financial administration.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial administration.
- Previous working experience in a school or educational institution is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with working knowledge of accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
