About the Role
Tastia Restaurant and Bakery is a fast-rising and dynamic brand in the Nigerian hospitality industry. Founded in 2020, we have rapidly expanded from a single establishment into a thriving chain with 11 branches across various locations. As we continue on our exciting trajectory of growth and resilience, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our corporate finance team and help maintain our high standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysis to optimize operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory deductions, and financial regulations in Nigeria.
- Maintain orderly financial records and support internal and external audit processes.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
