Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial records, bookkeeping entries, and business transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, bank reconciliations, and balance sheets.
- Monitor stock and inventory-related financial data to minimize discrepancies and losses.
- Assist management with budgeting, payroll processing, and comprehensive expense tracking.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal company financial policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar financial packages.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word, and modern office tools.
- Diligent, hardworking, and exceptionally detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Prior working experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or the retail sector will be a distinct advantage.
