About the Role
Nectar Beauty Hub is a premier destination redefining the retail landscape as the first comprehensive Beauty Experience Hub in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting our strategic business growth within the fast-paced beauty and skincare industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports on a regular basis.
- Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to guide management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory deductions, and regulatory financial standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Maintain robust financial controls and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or progress towards completion is a strong advantage.
- Proven working experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and high ethical standards.
