About the Role

The Milk Booster, Nigeria's foremost breastfeeding company providing healthy lactation treats to increase breastmilk supply, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team in Iyana Ejigbo, Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping nursing mothers overcome low milk supply challenges by ensuring our business operations remain financially sound and efficient as we grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Monitor inventory records, reconcile stock levels, and analyze production costs.
  • Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to guide management decisions.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and statutory obligations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure seamless financial transparency.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business growth objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional accounting certification is an added advantage.
  • 1 to 3 years of proven accounting or finance experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
