About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at our Ikeja, Lagos office on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health and supporting our mission of making essential medicines available to everyone.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate daily financial records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems like QuickBooks.
- Thorough understanding of local financial regulations, tax compliance, and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
