About the Role
Fhemfel Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support sound financial decision-making across our real estate, hospitality, and investment portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Manage daily accounting entries, including receipts, payments, invoices, and journals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure to ensure financial efficiency.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and client reconciliations.
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions and compliance with tax regulations (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.).
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing in collaboration with the HR Department.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate or hospitality.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- High proficiency in QuickBooks and practical experience using it for daily operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Nigerian tax laws.
