About the Role
Tastia Restaurant and Bakery is a fast-rising and dynamic brand in Nigeria's vibrant hospitality sector. Established in 2020 during challenging times, we have grown from a single humble outlet into a thriving chain with 11 branches. Our journey of resilience and excellence continues as we expand further, and we are currently looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our expanding corporate team and help drive our financial operations to new heights.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and comprehensive accounting documents in line with industry standards.
- Record daily financial transactions meticulously and perform timely bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements.
- Monitor daily income, operational expenses, cash flow, and vendor payments to ensure financial health.
- Assist the management team with annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting policies, tax regulations, and statutory financial procedures.
- Support senior management with ad-hoc financial data analysis and actionable insights when required.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or fast-paced service industry.
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, computerized accounting software, and general office productivity tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Active ICAN or ACCA qualification, or ongoing part-qualification, will serve as a distinct added advantage.
