We are currently seeking a motivated and analytical Account Trainee to join our dynamic finance department in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and reconcile all customer payments and transactions related to their account statements accurately.
- Assist the finance team in maintaining general ledger records and day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with best-practice financial policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries promptly.
- Manage administrative duties within the accounts department while maintaining high levels of accuracy under pressure.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Peachtree, and SAP.
- Good understanding of standard accounting systems, practices, and financial policies.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively and remain resilient under pressure.
- Must reside around Akowonjo and its environs for ease of commute.
