We are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting our strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and statutory returns.
- Handle tax computations, filings, and ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile financial discrepancies promptly.
- Assist management in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation.
- Strong working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Must reside on the Lagos Island axis for ease of commute.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Possession of relevant professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA will be a distinct advantage.
