We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and analytical Accountant to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing daily accounting operations, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance to support our continued business growth and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare comprehensive periodic financial reports for management review.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, operational expenses, and overall budget performance to optimize financial health.
- Ensure timely tax filings and full compliance with relevant Nigerian statutory regulations.
- Support payroll processing, internal and external audits, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
- Maintain robust documentation standards and enforce internal financial controls across all departments.
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional accounting experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software applications.
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and Nigerian tax laws.
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and high ethical standards.
- Progress toward or completion of ICAN or ACCA professional qualifications is a distinct advantage.
