About the Role
Bolton White Hotels & Apartments, a premier luxury hospitality destination conveniently located in the heart of Abuja near major landmarks and business hubs, is seeking a diligent and analytical Internal Auditor. In this role, you will act as the guardian of our operational standards, ensuring that our 176-room luxury establishment operates with the highest levels of integrity, financial accuracy, and efficiency. Your insights will directly safeguard our bottom line while supporting an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive daily audits of all hotel revenue outlets including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure accurate revenue capture.
- Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential financial and operational vulnerabilities, proposing proactive solutions.
- Monitor strict departmental compliance with local Nigerian regulations, brand standards, and internal Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute routine inventory and asset control spot-checks on high-value items such as liquor, guestroom linens, and technical equipment.
- Prepare clear, actionable audit reports for senior management, highlighting financial discrepancies and recommending process enhancements.
- Lead thorough internal investigations into any unexplained financial variances, inventory losses, or operational inefficiencies.
- Proven professional experience as an Internal Auditor, with mandatory prior experience working within the hospitality or hotel management sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, hotel management software, and auditing best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail with high standards of integrity, discretion, and professional ethics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder management.
- Sound understanding of risk management, inventory control, and statutory compliance frameworks in Nigeria.
