About the Role
Stransact Chartered Accountants is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals to evaluate business opportunities, identify and mitigate potential risks, and drive value in every transaction for our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, general ledger entries, and financial reporting processes with high accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory filings, and relevant financial standards.
- Utilize accounting ERP systems to process financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate insightful financial reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify potential financial risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Support high-transaction-volume accounting processes, particularly within FMCG or manufacturing sector environments.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Active ICAN or ACCA qualification, or progress toward completion (in view).
- Minimum of three years of demonstrable accounting experience in a structured organization.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and modern accounting ERP systems.
- Solid working knowledge of Nigerian tax compliance laws and financial regulations.
- Prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or high-transaction-volume industries will be a strong advantage.
