We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our vibrant finance team in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, advanced computer skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Assist in preparing timely financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting tax computations to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Perform meticulous account reconciliations and swiftly resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, dynamic reporting, and financial modeling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client engagements and manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and prevailing Nigerian financial regulations.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Mandatory active certification as an ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) and/or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) professional.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
